I wanted to change the vacuum hoses on the intake for my old car. I went to the local autozone and they didn't have the size I needed. Looking around I see a lot of english equivalents to the metric version. Yeah they could work but it's interesting how I can't find a simple metric 4, 6, or 10 mm metric hose around here. My dad says I need to go to the dealer if I want to correct size. Yes, and they also charge and arm and a leg for even a simple o-ring.
