Security is as strong as the weakest link.

I used to work at a place where they had a lot of secured fences and doors, but it didn't matter because the people there would always prop the doors so that they could come back into the building. Here's a great example of something similar, with a car. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by it. Car quality has been going down for a while now. In this case Toyota. If you don't believe me look on youtube at all those broken door sienna handles. I'll be changing one soon too. In any case I hope you guys have an alarm on your car.

I got this error today. I was just trying to make a pdf file from some scans.

I was scanning some documents today and got this weird thing today. I haven't even done much on the computer lately but something just didn't want to work. I'm not sure if it's the program or windows since I haven't use this for some time. I just could not save for the life of me except for one folder. At least I was able to make my pdf.

Spare tire.

It's been tough week because the water pump went out in my car, so I have been busy with that and because it's been in the upper 90's and 100 degree F in many areas here. Let's just say that's made it even more challenging, but hey, don't forget all the mosquitos that had me for dinner all those days and nights. This brings me to this article I was reading about some new vehicles not having spare tires when you buy them. Let me give you a nice scenario and see how you will feel about it if you didn't have a spare tire. It's new years day, everything is closed and you're driving back from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. The weather is not so great, it's a desert after all. You've been driving for about maybe half an hour when you get a flat tire. The traffic is stop and go coming out of there all the way to Los angeles. You go back to the car, put that spare tire on the car, hopefully you have checked the air on it when you checked all the others as well. Then you're back on the road. Good thing it's stop and go traffic because you can't go faster than about 60 on a spare. In short it takes 11 hours to get from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, but you made it with the spare tire. All is well because there was a spare tire. A very tiring long trip but you're made it. Well, this actually happened to a friend of mine and me coming from there. It was no fun, but we did made it back home. Now check out what they say about it in the article, maybe my story will change your mind about not having a spare tire. I think it's silly not to have one, but that's just me. Also, don't forget to check the air on your spare tires. I seem to find them pretty flat most of the time.
