Company admits some of their products added to the ddos problem

Why am I not surprised, dvr's are like those dime a dozen android Chinese phones that never get any updates. In short, this is a good time as any to say that companies that don't update their software on new or old hardware will just be asking for it. We are more and more dependent on software so this is only going to increase. Any companies that don't bother updating their software will be dropping like flies or will be dropped by the consumers. Well, this is my prediction for now.

DVR's and DDoS

Well I'm not surprised with this as I had one and it literally seem to have been destroying itself even when I kept it unplugged. There was just a lot of activity going on and eventually just destroyed the hard drive in it. Not to mention when I asked the manufacturer about any firmware updates they basically said that they didn't have any. Keep an eye on dvr's becuse they are as bad as android phones that don't get any updates. A lot of people and companies used them but they seem to be one of the worst pieces of equipment to get any updates as well.
